Universal Silencer's absorptive air and gas silencers are designed for broadband noise attenuation in air, gas, and steam service. The standard U-series (carbon steel) and SU-series (stainless steel) cover pipe sizes from 1/4" through 24" and larger, with multiple body lengths to achieve the required noise reduction. All silencers are available with flanged or threaded connections and can be custom-engineered for special service conditions.
Series Overview
The U5 is Universal Silencer's most popular standard absorptive silencer. Designed for air, gas, and steam service, the U5 provides broadband noise attenuation with low pressure drop. Available in pipe sizes from 1" through 24" and larger on special order.
