PEECO Non-Explosion Proof Flow Switches

PEECO non-explosion proof flow switches are the standard product line for non-hazardous (ordinary) locations. They are flow-actuated mechanical switches — movement is minimal, giving long service life with accurate, repeatable actuation. Each switch is custom-designed for the specific application: fluid type, pipe size, pressure, temperature, and electrical requirements are all specified at time of order.

Available in NEMA 1 (general purpose), NEMA 4 (weatherproof), and NEMA 4X (stainless, corrosion resistant) enclosures. All standard mounting styles are available.

PEECO N-Series mounting styles — Model NT-F Wafer Mount, NP-F Flange Mount, NT Tee Mount, NP-S Thread Mount

Mounting Styles

Screwed (NPT) Model NP-S

Standard threaded connection for most pipe sizes. 1/4" to 4" NPT.

Flanged Model NP-F

ANSI 150# or 300# flanged for larger pipe sizes and higher-pressure applications.

Tee Mounting Model NT

Switch mounts in a standard pipe tee — no special fittings required.

Wafer Style Model NP-F

Sandwiched between flanges for compact installation in tight spaces.

Welded

Weld-in mounting for permanent installation or high-vibration service.

Typical Applications

  • Cooling water flow confirmation
  • Pump protection (low-flow shutdown)
  • Lubrication oil flow monitoring
  • HVAC chilled water systems
  • Boiler feedwater flow detection
  • Chemical injection confirmation
  • Hydraulic system flow monitoring
  • General industrial process control

Custom-Engineered to Order

PEECO flow switches are not off-the-shelf items. Each switch is configured for your specific application. To request a quote, provide: fluid type, pipe size, flow rate range, operating pressure, operating temperature, electrical requirements (voltage, amperage, switch action), and area classification.
