Jacoby-Tarbox offers a complete line of hygienic products for food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology applications. The Hy-Sight® and Hy-Sight Full View hygienic sight flow indicators deliver the cleanest glass-to-metal transition available, with ASME BPE SF4 wetted surface finish and ratings to 300 PSIG. The Uni-San® hygienic sight window brings proven UniGlas® one-piece technology into hygienic service. The product line also includes Hy-Trap™ bubble traps, hygienic eductors, hygienic lighting, and GRQ engineered clamps.

Sight Flow IndicatorThe Hy-Sight features the cleanest glass-to-metal transition point, resulting from precision borosilicate glass, a positive stop design controlling compression, and tightened-tolerance EHEDG-inspired O-ring capture. Largest view area and highest pressure rating in its class.

Removes entrained air and gas from sanitary process liquids — commonly used in chromatography and other hygienic processing systems. Must be sized for liquid fill rate, flow volume, and fluid specific gravity to provide adequate headspace for gas separation.

Hy-Trap™ Hygienic Bubble Trap — How It Works
As liquid passes through the Hy-Trap, entrained gas separates from the process stream and rises into the open headspace at the top of the vessel, where it can be collected, directed, or safely vented. The trap must be sized for the application's liquid fill rate, flow volume, and fluid specific gravity — proper sizing ensures adequate headspace for reliable gas separation. The unit can be configured around the flow conditions, connection style, and instrumentation requirements of the individual sanitary process.
