Electrically actuated remote level gage system for boiler drums, feedwater heaters, flash tanks, and deaerators. Operates multiple indicators at near and distant locations. Independent circuit design for each level with alarm output terminals. Pressures to 3000 PSI.
The Electro Eye-Hye System offers unique design and operating characteristics unattainable with conventional remote reading equipment. Electrical actuation means the system can operate virtually any required number of level indicators at whatever distances and locations desired.
In addition to monitoring liquid levels, the system can also actuate fuel cutoff interlocks and alarms, energize solenoid valves, or control pump motors — all at pre-set liquid levels.

System Components
Electrolev
Four standard types for monitoring changes in liquid levels. Can be virtually any length desired, allowing probes to cover a wide variation in liquid levels. Standard models offer 10, 12 and 20 probes; 5–24 probes available.
Conductivity Probes
The heart of the system and key to reliable performance. Traditional and brazed probe designs available. Responds to probe signals to activate level indicators and alarms. Optional door-mounted indicator available.
Control Unit
Plug-in electronic modules accept level reading signals from probes and activate corresponding lamps in remote level indicators. Can be equipped with differential "Dead Band" relays for alarm set points.
Remote Indicator
Electrically activated indicators easily installed in locations best suited for operator observation. Many models offer choices in size, number of lamps, and single or bi-color indication.
FSB Brazed Probes
FSB (Full-Seal Brazed) probe design for high-pressure, high-temperature applications. Eliminates threaded connections for maximum reliability in demanding steam plant environments.
System Exerciser
System Exerciser Switch
Plugs into control unit receptacle for testing each level independently or cumulatively. Can be used to assist programming the 4–20 mA option.
Optional
Optional Control Relays
Differential or "Dead Band" relays with capability to turn alarms or other electrical controls on at one level and off at a different level. Set points can be selected and changed in the field.

Electrolev Model Selection
Four Electrolev models serve steam pressures to 3000 psi. Standard Electrolevs offer 10, 12 and 20 probes; other probe numbers between 5 and 24 can be specified.

Typical Applications
ASME Code Compliance
A special assembly combines two Clark Reliance level gages to form a design for boilers operating over 900 psi. The gage meets ASME codes, permits one direct reading drum gage, and provides two independent remote reading (Electro Eye-Hye) level indicators. The direct reading drum gage (Simpliport) may be closed off but kept serviceable. This dual gage design offers savings in space, equipment, and maintenance costs.
