Steam Flow Meters — Flo-Gage™
RCM steam flow meters measure saturated steam in an inexpensive, easy to apply flow meter. The steam service option includes EPR seals, SS bellows and an inverted housing. The Flo-Gage™ operates on a classic differential pressure (ΔP) principle, similar to an orifice-plate meter but fully integrated for simplicity and reliability.
Steam pressures are limited to 120 psig saturated unless remote mounted (Option R2 for bronze bodies or Option R3 for 316SS). All meters are available in either threaded (Series 7000) or flanged (Series 8000) connections.

Steam Pressures Over 120 PSIG — Options R2 & R3
Steam pressures over 120 psig require the R2 or R3 "remote" option. Option R2 is for bronze bodies; Option R3 is for 316SS bodies. The remote option separates the dial indicator from the meter body, keeping the readout away from the high-temperature steam source.
