Clark Reliance Venting Traps - Pressures to 300 psig

Venting Traps In Pipe Sizes 1/2" and 3/4."

Clark-Reliance venting traps automatically discharge air or gas that accumulates at the high points of a liquid system or closed vessel. The venting process is actuated by a float, therefore these traps must be used with a liquid rather than air or other gases.

Operation is direct and positive. Accumulation of air or gas lowers the float, opening the valve. Accumulation of liquid raises the float, closing the valve.

Clark-Reliance Venting Trap Applications:
Vent air at high points of hot or cold water system.
Vent air on cooling systems of internal combustion engines and compressors.
Vent air from fluid lines ahead of meter runs.
Vent air or gas on discharge of deep well pumps.
Vent air from hydraulic systems.
Vent air and gases from gravity lines to pumps and pump discharges.
Admit air when liquids are drained from tanks.
As liquid level control by piping liquid into the discharge valve of the trap.

Body is high pressure cast iron (ASTM Class 30) for pressures to 250 PSIG @ 450° F. or 300 PSIG @ 150° F. All internal working parts are stainless steel including discs, seats and floats. Valve points are guided to assure positive closing.
