Continuous Monitoring for Series 600 Mixers

The Jensen Mixers 600 Series First-Watch Notification System is designed to alert operators to changes in mixer operation before they become costly failures. By continuously monitoring both vibration levels and mechanical seal health, the system provides early warning that allows maintenance teams to respond proactively.

The First-Watch system is field installable on older Series 600 units already in service, and is fully customer-configurable to accommodate unique site operating requirements and procedures.

Vibration Monitoring

Murphy Mechanical Vibration Switch

Vibration monitoring is performed by a Murphy Mechanical Vibration Switch. Customers may set vibration levels to accommodate their location's unique operating parameters or procedures. An electronic system with feedback and remote reset is also available for facilities requiring automated control room integration.

Seal Health Monitoring

System Integrity Monitoring

Seal health monitoring begins with the Thomas Products visual "Green Light Red Light" float switch — a simple, robust visual first-alert system that confirms seal integrity from a distance without requiring close examination. A center 1" sight glass allows easy visual inspection at any time.

Customers requiring more rapid response may upgrade to a float switch with non-contact sensor or a full electronic monitoring system.
