The UL-1571 Listed Series MSL-100 mini sight light provides highintensity illumination for sightglasses and sight flow indicators. Manufactured in the USA from stainless steel and with gasketed joints, these fixtures are ideally suited for corrosive environments and sanitary applications found in the dairy, food, and pharma-ceutical industries. Rated for 120 volts and 100 watts makes wiring simple and straightforward. Fixture is optionally available rated for 24 volts and 20, 50 or 100 watts.
Illumination Choices:
The Series MSL uses a powerful 120 Volt 100 Watt Tungsten Halogen bulb that has been matched with a conical reflector to provide maximum light output. The Series MSL HI-LED uses a high intensity light engine designed to replace halogen technology.
NEW HI-LED Lighting Series:
The new HI-LED Lighting Series is a high intensity light engine designed to replace halogen technology. The HI-LED is not a standard LED bulb. Custom designed, it offers more robust technology than halogen bulbs. Unlike Halogen bulbs, HI-LED lamps have no filament and are not affected by vibration, impact, heat, dust, or surface oils. Since they do not generate heat, which causes halogen bulbs to burn out prematurely, they may be left on continuously without over heating the fixture housing. The HI-LED provides a bright white light and emits as much or more light intensity (candle power and lumens) as a 100 watt halogen bulb. HI-LED technology offers 40,000 - 45,000 hour lamp life for continuous duty (almost 5 years) versus 1,000 - 2,000 lamp life for halogen. HI-LED lighting is available for both non-hazardous and explosion-proof light fixtures.

- The HI-LED does not generate the excessive heat that a 100Watt halogen lamp does. The HI-LED technology runs cool and can operate continuously without overheating the electronics and burning out the lamp. Also, HI-LED Fixtures do not transmit heat into sight glass or vessel which might a negative effect on some applications.
- The HI-LED fixtures are not affected by vibration or [reasonable] impacts because there is no filament! HI-LED are also resistant to heat, dust, and surface oils.
- The HI-LED fixtures emit a bright white light [high color temp]. Unlike with Halogen Lamps there no 'yellow' tint. They also have an even beam spread with no "dull" spots.

| The Series MSL Sightglass light has been specifically designed for use in the clean areas of Pharmacutical and Food & Dairy industries.
Manufactured in all Stainless Steel with fully gasketed joints and completely machined external surfaces, the water tight and dust tight Series MSL is ideal for frequent wash downs. For cleanliness, the MSL's has no fins, threads or other such areas to collect dust, dirt, and or bacteria that present risks to batch integrity and make cleaning the unit more difficult. |
