Series SLEX-100 & REX-100 Explosion Proof Light with Sanitary Clamp |
|||||||||||||||||||||
Available with either LED or Halogen bulbs We are pleased to introduce a combination explosion-proof light and sanitary sight glass assembly. By designing a series SVTC Sanitary Clamp-type sightglass directly into a series SLEX-100/REX-100 lighting fixture, we have allowed the user to illuminate the contents of a pressurized vessel or pipeline with 100W of lighting intensity on existing standard sanitary clamp style ferrules. The SLEX-100/REX-100 lighting fixture is a UL-844 and CSA C22.2 listed explosion-proof light, suitable for Class 1, 2, Division 1, 2, Groups C, D, E, F, and G. Both models use high intensity halogen lamps to provide glare-free illumination. The REX-100 is provided with a highly polished internal reflector, which increases light intensity. Both models can be re-lamped without removing the unit from service or disturbing any electrical connections. The light housing itself is made from a polished corrosion resistant copper-free aluminum alloy No. 356T6. All castings are made with heavy walls to withstand internal explosions without damage. They will also contain and extinguish flames of burning gases before they ignite the surrounding atmosphere. Both the lamp and wiring compartments are separate and are individually explosion-proof per UL-844 and CSA C22.2. The SLEX-100/REX-100 is fitted with a Series SVTC sightglass. The lens of the sightglass is an integral part of the unit, not a loose part. The standard unit is suitable for 150PSIG and full vacuum with a maximum temperature limit 500° F. Higher temperature and pressure ratings are available. HI-LED Lighting SVTC Series:
Custom Designed, Energy Efficient, Compact Hi-LED™ LED Array Meets LM80 Energy Star Standards Hi-LED Series lighting is not an “off-the-shelf” LED bulb. It was custom designed for Papailias to include features that save energy, provide uniform light, and extend the life of the lamp to reduce overall operating costs. The heart of the unit, the LED array, has been LM80 tested and is approved for the Energy Star program. State-of-the-art optics control the light in a specific uniform pattern, eliminating the hot spots and yellow tint that halogen bulbs produce.
