The Original HYCOA 6-Way Valve

The 6-Way Same Side Port is the original HYCOA patented design and remains the most widely installed transfer valve in duplex filter and cooler applications worldwide. The same-side port configuration — common inlet and outlet on the same side of the valve body — allows for compact piping arrangements and is the standard choice for most new duplex system designs.

6-Way Same Side Port Transfer Valve

A 6-way transfer valve controls fluid flow between two parallel circuits — typically a duplex filter or duplex cooler system — allowing one circuit to remain in service while the other is isolated for maintenance, cleaning, or element replacement. The 6-way valve has six ports: common inlet, common outlet, two filter/cooler inlets, and two filter/cooler outlets.

The HYCOA 6-Way Same Side Port valve places the common inlet and common outlet on the same side of the valve body. This configuration is the most compact arrangement and is the standard choice for most duplex filter and cooler installations. The same-side porting allows the valve to be installed in tight spaces where an inline configuration would require additional piping length.

The patented resilient sealing shoe provides true zero leakage across all operating conditions. The retracting actuator delivers zero frictional drag on change-over. Positive mechanical lockdown holds the seal firmly in place with no springs required. No lubricant is needed for operation. ASME and API 598 & 614 compliant.
