Anderson
Type TL Separators are constructed to comply with ASME Pressure
Vessel Code Section 8 and National Board specifications. Separators
are manufactured from carbon steel and exterior surfaces are
prime coated.
Provides
reliable and effective removal of line scale, liquids and
other contaminants from process air and gas lines.
High
separation efficiency peaks at 99% of all entrainment liquids,
with efficiency maintained over a wide range of flow conditions. Handles
high liquid-to-gas ratio by weight.
Employs
no moving parts and is self-cleaning, greatly extending service
life while lowering maintenance costs.
Minimal
pressure drop assures full operating system pressure.
Entrainment
laden gas, such as steam or air, enters the separator and is
directed through stationary rotor blades at high velocity.
Liquid and solids in the spinning gas are thrown by centrifugal
force against the wall of the vortex chamber. Contaminants
run down the chamber walls, past the baffle plate, and through
the drain outlet. Treated gas, still spinning, converges toward
the center of the vortex chamber and, increasing in velocity,
exits through the vortex finder tube to the gas outlet.
