Globe Valve vs. Ball Valve
The 8000GM uses a globe valve design, which provides finer, more precise control over the mixing ratio compared to a ball valve. This makes it the preferred choice for applications where precise temperature control is critical and operators need to make fine adjustments during washdown.
For applications where positive on/off control is more important than fine adjustment, consider the 8000GM-B ball valve model. For automatic thermostatic temperature control, see the 8000T.
