Jerguson Gage & Valve
Series 300L · Series 32 · Series 20 · Series L10 — Reflex & Transparent Glass, 750–3270 PSI
Jerguson armored level gages provide direct visual liquid level indication on process vessels, boilers, storage tanks, and heat exchangers. All series feature one-piece bar stock chambers — no weld seams in the pressure boundary — with tempered borosilicate glass retained by forged or bar stock covers and alloy steel hardware. Reflex glass (prismatic) provides self-illuminating level indication; transparent glass (flat, two-piece) allows direct viewing of fluid color, clarity, and interface. Mica shields are available for steam and corrosive service on all series.
The Jerguson Series 300L is the standard armored level gage for low-to-medium pressure service. The one-piece chamber is machined from bar stock — A696 Grade C carbon steel or A511 Grade TP316L stainless steel. Bar stock covers, tempered borosilicate glass, and steel bolts and nuts (A193 B7 / A194 2H). Recessed gasket seats in both chamber and cover aid in positioning and retaining the gasket. Replaces the older Series 12 and Series 5 gages.

Key Features
The Jerguson Series L10 is designed for accurate liquid level readings in liquids that tend to surge, boil, or flash. The large chamber reduces boiling effects from entrained gas released under lowered pressure, liquid vaporization at critical low pressure, and boiling caused by temperatures exceeding the boiling point. A non-frosting unit is available for liquids with unusually low boiling points such as liquid ammonia, liquid oxygen, and liquid nitrogen.

The Jerguson Series 20 is a high-pressure armored level gage for demanding process service. One-piece chamber machined from bar stock, forged steel covers, tempered borosilicate glass, and alloy steel bolts and nuts (A193 B7 / A194 2H). Recessed gasket seats aid in positioning and retaining the gasket. Available in carbon steel, low-temperature carbon steel (A350 LF2), and 316LSS. FM Approved. Aluminosilicate glass option extends temperature rating to 800°F.

Key Features
The Jerguson Series 32 looks very similar to the Series 20, with the critical addition of mid-span supports (tie-bars) to achieve higher pressure ratings up to 4000 PSI @ 100°F. The mid-span support is recessed — unlike competitive designs — so there is no blind spot in the visible length. Recessed gasket seats in both chamber and cover provide positive location of the seal gasket during assembly and field repair, and help prevent lateral movement that could lead to gasket blow-out. Carbon steel covers are shrouded to protect the glass edges. All gages feature a continuous one-piece chamber regardless of length, and are hydrostatically tested at 1½ times the design pressure rating prior to shipment.
